Low refrigerant usually means there is a leak. Topping up without fixing it only buys a few weeks. We find and repair the leak first, then vacuum the system and charge the correct refrigerant (R22, R32, R410A and others) by weight and pressure, as the manufacturer specifies.

Why does my AC need gas again?
Refrigerant isn't used up. If it's low, there's a leak, and we repair it so you don't need repeated refills.
Can a top-up be done instead of a full charge?
Sometimes. If the leak is small and repaired, a top-up may be enough; otherwise a full recharge gives accurate performance.
