VRV & VRF units

Overview

How it works and why it fits.

VRV/VRF systems connect one outdoor unit, or a bank of them, to many indoor units of different styles: wall, cassette, ductable and more. Each zone sets its own temperature, and the system varies refrigerant flow to match real demand, so it uses far less energy than running many separate ACs. Central controllers make it easy to manage a whole building.

  • Independent temperature control for every zone
  • Mix and match indoor unit types on one system
  • High part-load efficiency through variable refrigerant flow
  • Centralised control and scheduling for facility teams

Questions

VRV & VRF units: common questions.

Something else on your mind? Call +91 88013 81405 or send an enquiry.

What's the difference between VRV and VRF?

VRV is Daikin's brand name for the technology. VRF is the general term used by other manufacturers. They work the same way.

Can VRF be added floor by floor?

Yes. Modular outdoor units let you phase installation and extend the system as floors are fitted out.
